Despite NYPD Statement, Ahmadinejad may still visit Ground Zero

(H/T Michelle Malkin) From WABC:

A law enforcement source says the Iranian mission to the United Nations has informed the Secret Service that the Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero Monday at 10 a.m.

The source says regardless of the NYPD’s rejection of the request for a Ground Zero tour, Iran’s president and his entourage will be accompanied by a Secret Service protective detail, a detail provided to all heads of state when they visit the United States.

Even in Iran the genocide enthusiast has been protested. If they have the courage to do it there, where it could mean time in jail or worse, I think we can find time to get out in the streets.  We know Atlas will be there protesting the one she calls, “the Poison Dwarf”.
Meanwhile Columbia University is spouting nonsense to explain their dhimmi status in having invited the murderer in the first place. From Columbia President Bollinger (NY Times Cityroom Blog):

That such a forum could not take place on a university campus in Iran today sharpens the point of what we do here. To commit oneself to a life and a civil society prepared to examine critically all ideas arises from a deep faith in the myriad benefits of a long-term process of meeting bad beliefs with better beliefs and hateful words with wiser words. That faith in freedom has always been and remains today our nation’s most potent weapon against repressive regimes everywhere in the world. This is America at its best.

All of that’s true, except its not what Columbia is doing. What Columbia is doing is providing a platform and conferring legitimacy upon a dictator, which is what Columbia, United Nations and our State Department are all about these days.

Columbia’s “Middle Eastern Studies” curriculum is a joke.

Hugh Fitzgerald’s article about Columbia U. helps explain its’ dhimmi mentality. http://www.campus-watch.org/article/id/1943

If there are any conservatives or anti-jihadist groups at Columbia now is the time to demand a platform to show the movie “Obsession” and use Bollinger’s comments as a sword and a shield.

O’Reilly’s show tonight had a student from CU. She didn’t make a bit of sense in her so-called explanation as to why Ahmadinejad should be invited to speak.

Fortunately, the president of Columbia University has guts. His speech looks like a born classic on how to address evil despots:

Some evidence is nice to have at hand to prove Ahmadinejad a liar:
