NEW VIDEO JUST IN - SEE IT NOW!
SILENCED.
STRANGLED.
NOT SUBMITTING.
The peaceful, quiet and politically incorrect “Stop the Islamisation of Europe” demonstration in Brussels is beaten back with arrests of demo leaders (how often do you see cops put a stranglehold on middle aged man in suit and tie…), police with dogs and riot gear. Here, great shots close up from Yahoo news (h/t Gateway Pundit):
And good wide shots showing the lines of police, dogs, protestors assembled quietly on steps:

If you look in the upper right hand corner of the photo of you’ve titled Silenced, you can see a banner on the building which reads: “SOLVIT: Solving Your Problems…” Their website is here: http://ec.europa.eu/solvit/site/index_en.htm with their english slogan translated: “Effective problem solving in Europe.” I guess we see how Europe is “solving” its problems these days.
A good example of where Europe is heading! free speech being prevented yet when groups demanding more 9/11s in europe nothing is done.
Shame on all the media in the UK their silence is noted.
Thank’s to everyone sending reports keeping us in touch with whats’ happening in Brussels.
Excellent photographs…..Well done SIOE UK!
why must we rely on SIOK for news of this? shame on the British media!
The Islamization of Europe reminds me of appeasement in the West before and during the Second World War. When Adolf Hitler was conquering Europe, almost everyone in Europe and USA believed that the best policy was appeasement. Those who advocated war (Churchill and Franklin Delano Roosevelt) were branded as warmongers and worse. Britain, Russia, and USA had to fight Hitler because they were attacked by Hitler. (To be exact, Ribbentrop declared war against USA.) Hitler lost the war due to his unbelievable stupidity. He fought (bravely) in the First World War, and yet he learned nothing from it, and he insisted that Germany must wage war against Britain, Russia, and USA at the same time.

No leader of a democratic nation was ever more popular than British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain - wildly cheered in the House of Commons by opposition parties as well as his own - when he returned from negotiations in Munich in 1938, waving an agreement and declaring that it meant “peace in our time.” Less than a year later, World War II began in Europe and spread across the planet, killing tens of millions of people and reducing many cities to rubble in Europe and Asia. Looking back after that war, Winston Churchill said, “There was never a war in all history easier to prevent by timely action.” source: http://www.nypost.com/seven/07272007/postopinion/opedcolumnists/americas_moral_paralysis_opedcolumnists_thomas_sowell.htm

just checked the main news on the BBC, seems that the chancellors cat at no.11 is more newsworthy than the disgraceful treatment of the peaceful demonstrators in Brussels.

[...] There are of course round ups and reactions for the anniversary all across the blogosphere, and I’ll bring some of them to you in just a moment. I wanted to say first, that It seems like every year on this date since that fateful day, I have learned something new. Of course I, like some others, learned of the very real threat of Islamic terrorism on September 11th, 2001. By 2003 I had learned how quickly some forget. It was just a few days after 9/11 in 2005 when the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad Cartoon crisis began, although the incident didn’t really grab headlines until later. And on September 11th, 2006, I read the Baron’s “The Other September 11th,” and the true depth and nature of the threat became apparent to me. This year its the nature and depth of European Dhimmitude which has revealed itself as I awoke to find Belgian Janissaries had turned on their fellow citizens. Some where down the road, there is a September 11th, whether its 5 or 10 or 25 years from now, when we’ll awake to celebrate the triumph of western civilization, enlightenment and liberty over the forces of 7th century totalitarianism and its appeasers. [...]
I have at least 30 minutes of video footage of the demo, including the outrageous beatings and arrests at Schumann square. Unfortunately, because of compatability issues, it seems I won’t be able to post the material until I get back home.

I support the police in this matter. The demonstration was illegal.
Sorry, after reading about the background of the demonstration I do not support the police. The reasons for banning the demonstration a pathetic. Is this the EU or the USSR?
The demonstration was deemed illegal long before it took place. The cops were in the right.
And the comment at 15:14 was not made by me.
