The louder the cries of Islamophobia, the more certain you can be that a given effort is headed in the right direction. And given the loud cries coming from the announcement of SANE’s Mapping Sharia Project we know that the infilitration of mosques is a concept which has them absolutely quaking in their boots. AlwaysOnWatch and WC got the chance to speak with David Yerushalmi on the Gathering Storm Radio Show (skip to about 13 mintues in because they have some tech trouble early on. Trust me its worth the wait) about this project. Said Yerushalmi of the projects finding at Falls Church:

“… that demonstrated our thesis that where you find sharia, you find the political ideology of jihad. And the reaction of CAIR to our press conference, and others in the American Muslim Community is disturbing in the extreme. And the reason its disturbing is this. We have suggested that it is Sharia, Islamic law, as its been passed down for a thousand years, historical and traditional sharia, which holds that you have to undo the american existance, the american constitution, and american life as we know it. Now, if all Islam was, is as they claim, the 5 pillars, meaning the acceptance of Allah and Muhammad as his prophet, prayer, charity, absolution or purity, and the haji, if that’s all it was, they’d get a zero ranking on our map, and we’d have absolutely no problem with Islam, because there would be no threat from Islam. But Islam is Islamic law, and they know it.”

And because they can’t challenge the findings, they have to impugn the motives of the investigators. Of course, typical for the Islamists, the only slander they can come up with is that Yerushalmi is pro-Israel (Horror of horrors!). Of course in the Islamic world, (and parts of the west now days, its sad to say) being pro-Israel is on its own proof positive being Islamophobic, racist, bigoted, and engaged in conspiracy against Muslims. The seven-million strong American Muslim community remains under siege for more than five year through profiling, harassment, interrogation, and peeping by the CIA and FBI. Arabs and Muslims are the prime targets of the post 9/11 reconfiguration of American laws, policies, and priorities. 

If only. The fact that Mapping Sharia is a privately funded, privately run project of individuals shows us how sadly lax our governments have been in truly examining the ideology for the war with which we are engaged. And the “siege” like discrimination claim lacks any basis in fact, which has the CAIR lawsuit-mongers crying themselves to sleep.

If the Islamist apologists were being at all honest with us, instead of practicing taqiyya, they would say, “Come on in and take a listen, you’ll like what you’ll hear, no radicialism, no calls for violence, your concerns will be assuaged.”

But until they get around to doing so, in the mean time wear the Islamophobist label as a proud symbol that you are on the right track.
